Hello! I'm home schooled and so I go by a completely different class organization than public school. I plan on going to a public school for 10th grade, so I was just wondering what were the classes you took/take for 9th grade. Or maybe a better way to ask that is, what are the required classes and what are the electives?
Thanks tons!

Hey :)
I was home schooled too, up until this year. I'm going to a local high school for 9 - 12. I don't know about other schools, but the core classes for mine were science, maths, English, RE, PE, history and geography. That's for year 9. For year 10, the compulsory classes are science, math and english. I did French, art and drama, but you could do food, IT, commerce, Indonesian and music theory too. The electives vary from school to school. Try going to the website of the school you're going to next year, and downloading the curriculum handbook. :)
Hope this helps. :)
Have fun next year!!

I took earth science, American government, English, math(either algebra 1 or geometry), two wellness classes(health), gym, drivers Ed, and German. These were all required, though you could take any language and if you weren't old enough you didn't take drivers Ed. Gym, both health classes and drivers Ed were all 1quarter classes. The rest were all year courses. My elective was band which was also all year. A lot of people took band or choir. But you could also take sing quarter classes for your electives.
Requirements are different for each state so you'd have to look that up. My freshmen year I took
English honors
Global 1 honors
Algebra
Biology
Health/ gym
You pick your electives and you usually get from 1-3 elective classes a year.
