I would like to know this , because its fine if you abruptly unplug AV cable from video player or TV . No thing bad happens !

My monitor is plug and play type , does it help ?
I have 2 CPUs but only 1 Monitor , unfortunately , I could not afford another one . Once happened to try , but scared , so its wise to ask here first !

nothing bad will happen. just make sure that you don't yank it out of the back of the pc. i used to do that with my current pc and my old Windows 95. it doesn't damage it. just don't keep doing this for the next 5-10 yrs. then yeah, it won't be a good cable anymore.. the prongs #1-15 in the blue VGA connector will break off sooner or later...
