I have an internet connection but I cannot configure it to work with my XBox. I would like to download some downloadable content for a few of my games. Is there any way to purchase the content from my computer, download it to it, and then burn it to a disc to transfer to my XBox? There is no where I can from my current location to use another XBox that has the ability to access XBox Live.

There's no "legal" way to do this without having a working connection to Xbox LIVE. Though Microsoft has come out with a nifty feature on their site which allows you to browse through downloadable content and add it to your 360, it requires both your 360 and PC to be connected to the internet.
ok so if you've got microsoft points then you can buy the new level/map, or sometimes its free! you can get the points from ebay, game shops...or you can buy it off the actual xbox- if you have A credit card linked. Then when you turn your xbox on it should show a screen showing the number of friends online, just below all that it says 'inside xbox' or 'inside xbox live' you can get it through that or when you play the actual game it may come up with a message saying there is downloadable content, would you like to download this or not
