You're in a bit of a bind, because your Acer X3400 is a slimline/small form factor computer.
Slimlines can't accept midrange or higher gaming cards because only low-profile models fit into the narrow case. Moreover, the power supplies on slimlines are weaker than standard desktops, further restricting your upgrade options. Because the power supplies are proprietary, you often can't find a compatible higher-wattage replacement (which is easy on desktops).
Even if you're lucky enough to find a psu upgrade and install something halfway-decent like a low-profile Radeon HD 6570 or GeForce GT 430, you've got another problem- heat. Small Form Factor cases don't have good airflow, there's just not enough space inside. So overheating problems are fairly common when slimlines have been upgraded with higher-end cards.
In short, your computer can't accept any cards of the level necessary to play games like Skyrim, BF3 etc. The best cards you can install with that power supply are the Radeon HD 6450/GeForce GT 520, which are just low-end models. They're much better than your GeForce 9200 but still nowhere near what you'd want for serious games. They can handle light/medium games at low resolutions like 1366x768 or less.

As to the specific Radeon HD 5570 card you linked, it's hard to tell without a picture. But the product dimensions indicate it's a standard full-height card, which won't fit. Low-profile versions of that card are hard to find anyway, since it's been replaced by the Radeon HD 6570. But your factory psu probably can't handle that anyway. Typically, computers need a 270-300W power supply in order to successfully run the 6570.

If you transplanted everything from the slimline case into a regular tower case, then you could install any gaming card (along with any standard ATX power supply needed to support them) you wanted.

For Skyrim you'll want at least a GeForce GTS 450 or Radeon HD 6750, preferably a GeForce GTX 550 Ti/Radeon HD 5770 or better. For Battlefield 3, you'll really want a Radeon HD 6850 or better.

The 5570 is a low power budget card. It's not powerful. It'll easily beat that 9200, but you're ot going to run games well at all. You'll need to spend a lot more than that.
Christian, are you functionally retarded? It's a graphics adapter?? No, it's a bloody video card, the same as your GT220! By the way, the 5570 will outrun the GT220, which is an old, outdated piece of crap. Seriously, stop posting if you're this agonizingly clueless.
Do not buy the XFX Radeon HD 5570. It's a graphic adapter. You do not need that. Well you have a great computer, all you need is a graphic card. I have a EVGA Geforce GT 220. It's great, i play MW3 and a bunch of other nice games. I un-screwed the back of my PC and inserted it. So you need one just like it. All PC's have the same Graphic space.

This card has DDR3 memory, and and HDMI port. It rates 6.5 {WEI} in Windows 7 Pro. 64-bit.
I have this one. It works great on MW3 video settings set to high.
Good luck
