any ideas for intro paragraph?!?
okay everyone, im in 10th grade honors english class and our teacher assigned us to write a 3 page paper on "The McDonaldization of America"... its a pretty broad topic to say the least. but i need ideas and suggestions. i want my paper to be different and interesting ya know?
all she asked for so far was a dynamite thesis statement, and an intro paragraph... does anyone have any suggestions?!..

McDonaldization is when society takes on the characteristics of a fast-food restaurant, ie: efficiency, calculability, predictability and controllability.
You could talk about how that kind of culture is opposed to healthy human civilization just like McDonald's food is opposed to healthy human bodies?
Humanity can learn or die? Along those lines...
Maybe that's too heavy for 10th grade...
