Tramadol, Citalopram, Gabapentin for a mood stabilizer.
Avoid antipsychotics like the plague. They are not nearly as safe as once was thought, these are very dangerous drugs for the mind and body.
I've had major depression, (schizophrenia) psychosis, anxiety disorder, eating disorder, and possible other things.
I cannot even begin to say how many medications I went through before I found the right one - there are so many and some don't always suit every person. So keep persisting with your doctor, and make sure you are getting other help from a psychologist and/or psychiatrist as they really do help - you need their help alongside the medications you're trying.
Unfortunately some of them do cause some not very nice side effects, but the doctors will help you to find the right one.
Good luck
Well, an anxiety attack or panic attack you would usually become very dramatic and over react and have trouble breathing and sometimes begin to cry uncontrollably etc. This doesn't sounds like one, but you may have been caused an minor anxiety attack because of your wrist thing, which may be paranoia, obsessive compulsive disorder, or something. And that little 'problem' you have with your wrist, may have just made you distressed. Maybe go to your local doctor and tell them the way you'vee been feeling, they will have a better idea than most people on here. Good luck
I take effexor and Seroquel for depression/anxiety/occasional manic/psychosis and it seems to work. Just be careful with Seroquel, you can gain a lot of weight with it, so if you do end up taking it, WATCH YOUR WEIGHT!
Keep looking for the right medication UNTIL YOU FIND IT. DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!!!! and in the meantime try to seek as much help as you can: i.e: support groups, books about how to defeat depression, bipolar, psychosis etc., and free talk therapy.
Google SEROQUEL. It's like the number one medication doctors use for EVERYTHING but beware of the weight gain.
Oh my god you need therapy and to do some deep self evaluating. That **** they give you is going to cause you brain damage, especially with every single time they change it or up the dose. These doctors are PAID to say "here try this it might make you feel better". And a lot of money too. They don't care about the effect it has on your brain as long as it sedates you.
