Can I upgrade my HP Pavilion Elite e9220y desktop processor?
I have a AMD phenom II x4 910 processor, and I think soon I may need to upgrade. Also, is it possible to upgrade the graphics card in this computer? (Graphics card:ATI Radeon HD 4350) If anyone can answer this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
TDP=125W
AMD Phenom II X4 9xx/9xxe/8xx Quad-Core (D)
AMD Phenom II X3 7xx/7xxe Triple-Core (H)
AMD II Athlon X4 6xx/6xxe (P)
AMD II Athlon X3 4xx/4xxe ®)
AMD II Athlon X2 2xx/2xxe ®)
1 PCI x16 slot for graphics card
300w psu - you might want to upgrade that, if you get a new graphics card.
You can upgrade to a better phenom II x4 and you should be able to upgrade to an x6 (tho the chipset your motherboard uses is old, may require a bios update to do that).
Yes you can add a graphics card, as the graphics that comes on that computer blow. Just get any pci-e x16 graphics card. (ofcourse you will need to think about size requirements of your case as well as power consumption of the card).
I couldnt find what psu your computer came with, but you can open the side and look at the output wattage on the sticker. You will most likely need a new PSU if upgrading graphics.
tbh i would just upgrade the psu/graphics and hold off on the processor, your processor should be good enough for most all gaming, its just your crap graphics really hold it back.
Hp site shows cpu options
HD4350 is a low power low bandwidth card and usually
low profile too for small form factor pc's.
your 300 watt supply is a bit low for powerful graphics but should be
ok for some of the 5000 series, especially if you choose the lowest power ones.
Personaly i would sell it and then get everything i want and build it.
You could upgrade if the motherboard can support what you are looking fro the moment
You can upgrade ANY part of your desktop machine as long as you or the person doing it knows how.
