I have a Toshiba Satellite C855D, with an AMD E-300 APU 1.3 GHz processor, but I got the Elgato HD Game Capture and it requires at LEAST a 2.0 dual core processor, can I upgrade my laptop to match the requirements? And can the Best Buy Geek Squad possibly help upgrade?

Most of the time it may not be possible to easily upgrade the processor of a Laptop. This means that just ' sometimes ' it is possible. This can be done by trying to get an exactly similar Processor but of higher speed.
Your best option will be to research this at the Laptop manufacturers website and maybe on the internet forums. I don't trust the Geek Squad too much but if nothing else works then perhaps you have to bite the bullet and do just that.
Good Luck !
That CPU uses a BGA413 socket, is not soldered in. Very few laptops/notebooks have the processor soldered to the motherboard. Whether you can upgrade a processor depends on the BIOS and motherboard will support a better processor.
No.
Laptops can almost never upgrade their parts (since they're soldered on)
Only the high end laptops can do that (and those high end laptops would already have something like a quadcore of 2.7Ghz or something, so they wouldn't really need an upgrade to begin with)
Sorry u can,t upgrade ur laptop bcoz laptop cant be upgrade.
u have to bye a new one..........
