college transfer?
i just turned 20 and i'm in my second year of college. i screwed around last year a lot, and my grades were horrible. i was basically being an idiot. i did ok but not great last semester and i plan to do really good this semester. is it possible to transfer with a bad gpa? i'm trying to get it up to a 2.75 thats what my cumulative would be even if i get all a's this semester. i just don't feel like i belong here, and i don't really like it. what should i do? will i even be considered at another school if i do decide to transfer? i can't decide.

My BF had not-so-great grades and transferred fine. They looked at the individual classes and what grades he got in them to determine what he would have to take to get their degree. Some credits they accepted, others that he had done poorly in they made him take again at their school.
Not all schools work the same, but depending on where you want to transfer to you might be ok on a class-by-class basis like my BF, and not be penalized due to an over-all low GPA.
