It's probably a temporary file of images that is intended to speed up your surfing by cutting the time to reload a page that you've been too previously.
If you want the storage space back on your hard drive, run Disk Cleanup. To free up even more space, remove all but the most recent Recovery point by clicking on the Clean up System Files button when it comes up & tells you how much storage you can recover. It'll run again and the same report will come up with two tabs instead of one. Click on the second tab, mouse down to the second section, and tell it to delete all but the most recent recovery point.
If you have a lot of recovery points, you may have to wait a while for it to mark everything for cleaning. Then tell it to run Disk Cleanup. You will probably notice a very large increase in the amount of free space on your hard drive.
It might be a good idea to defragment afterward, it'll move the file bits closer together to speed up the search for the different pieces of the same file (rather like moving books closer together on a shelf after getting rid of ones that you don't want any more).
The temporary file usually deletes when the computer shuts down - depending on your computer's settings - so the file may already have cleaned itself up if the computer was shut down since.
If a computer running Windows requires more memory/RAM then there is installed in the system to run a program, etc, it uses a small section of the hard drive for this purpose. This is called “Virtual” memory, or “Swap Filling”. If the “Swap” file is to small, then you will get a warning that the system can’t perform the operation that you have requested because sufficient “Virtual” memory isn’t available.
You need to enlarge the size of your “virtual memory/swap file”. So, do the following.
Right click “My Computer” and choose “Properties”.
In the “System Properties” window, click the “Advanced” tab.
Under “Performance”, click “Settings”.
In the “Performance Options” window, click “Advanced”.
Under “Virtual memory”, click “Change”.
Increase the size of the “Paging file” so that it is at least twice the size of your RAM. You can increase the size to “Maximum”, it won’t hurt your system at all.
Best cure.
If you really want to eliminate this problem, all you need do is to install more “Memory/RAM”.
i don't know about the save file thing, but nwhen you browse the internet it creates temporary files which can take up memory, you can use Ccleaner to get rid of these files
