I have decided to do a full system recovery on my laptop computer. I have the recovery disks and I follow the instructions start up the computer run from the disk, but a blue windows set up screen comes and at the bottom it says it is loading drivers. My directions say after the computer runs the disk a screen with a list of options should appear the options are R, F, and Q for standard recovery, destructive recovery, and quit. This screen never comes up am I doing something wrong. I believe I have a virus on my computer and just want to wipe the whole thing. My computer is an HP Pavilion Media Center dv 5139 Notebook. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

the windows blue screen setup comes because you always try the auto recovery option when you start your computer , please dont do that and wait....just insert the disc and press f8 to manual boot option..then boot the recovery disc and you will recover your system...
