Day to day life as a...?

Hey guys, i'm a current HS junior and have 2 collage paths in mind, One is majoring in computer science and minoring in computer programming, the second plan i have is double majoring in teaching and american history.

My question is what is what can i do with a comp sci degree and what would the day to day life as a comp programmer or comp sci related job be? what would they day to day life of a teacher teaching history be ( besides teaching class and grading)? Which of these two plans would make the most money and have the most job openings after collage.
