Basically to me a transsexual is a man or woman who is willing to essentially mutilate their genitals, fill his or her body with chemicals and hormones, and dress like a man or woman in society usually dresses. This to me is completely crazy. They aren't actually changing their gender. There are simply deforming their body. Please don't compare it to breast augmentation or something similar to that. It is simply not the same. When a person is willing to mutilate their genitals to fulfill an inner fantasy or desire than I think they have problems that and may need serious counseling. This has nothing to do with people being gay or anything. I mean, if I wanted to look more like a cow because that is how I felt on the inside and I had a serious operation to make me look like some bizarre human cow would that be a sign of serious mental issues? To me there is no difference. I am not saying that transsexuals are good or bad, I am saying that I think they have serious mental issues that need to be addressed before they pay 10's of thousands of dollars to chemically alter their body and mutilate their genitals. I am also not referring to people born as transgender and making a decision to be a male or a female because of societal pressures. I am only referring to physically healthy males or females that mutilate their body. I think they may need help serious help. What do other people think?

I think you keep asking this question because it strikes close to home, just as homophobic people are constantly explaining how homosexuality is unnatural because they themselves fear they are homosexual.
Are Transsexual people bothering you? Is what they do to their bodies even any of your business??? You can ponder this question all you want. I already KNOW the facts about Transsexualism because I AM Transsexual, and I HAVE treated my condition and MY LIFE is a million times better than it was. THAT is all that matters. What you think or believe is irrelevant, even if you were correct, which you're NOT.
What interests me is why someone would take such an interest in proving an idiot theory that was dismissed by the mainstream medical community decades ago.
So what is your agenda? Obviously it's not to learn, because you've asked this question before and have been given the best, most current scientific research. I think that either you ARE Transsexual, are afraid you might be, or have been traumatized emotionally by a Transsexual person.

Eugh... I'd hate to say it but my utter lack of medical training says you two have a long hard road ahead if you're trying to conceive the old school way.... There's a lot of factors that go against your average conception, adding in your girlfriend being on HRT and you already suffering a miscarriage... both your systems might be too stressed to give you the best chances. I would talk to a doctor and see about getting both of you checked to see what's the best course of action. I would say either your womb is still recovering or your girlfriend has suffered a serious blow to her fertility. If she can still preform and ejaculate though, I would risk saying there may be some chance that she isn't completely sterile yet. If your girlfriend chooses to go off HRT for awhile, that won't make her return to her previous levels of fertility. It will only stop her from declining further. That I am pretty certain on... and it's her choice, you shouldn't feel guilty if she does choose to hold off long enough for you two to sort out the baby making. You obviously dont understand what it means to be transsexual. As a transsexual i was born with a female brain in a male body. My gender is female and sex is male. What this means is my body causes me great depression due to the fact that its not the body that my mind identifies with. Due to the depression that many transsexual people suffer, doctors offer hormones and surgery so that theyre comfortable in theyre bodies. What many people dont realise is that there is a huge suicide rate amongst transsexual people who do not have the chance of hormone replacement and/or surgery. Its essential that these people are given the treatment they need. Its not "crazy". Its not a "fantasy". Transsexual people do not decide to be male or female. It is recognised by doctors as a real medical issue where by people are born with the a different gender brain to theyre physical sex.
I cant convince you that we do not have serious psychosis, however a cisgendered person can not begin to imagine what its like to be caught in the wrong body. No amount of counseling will help a transsexual person. The will ALWAYS identify as whatever gender they feel like inside.

If people can be born physically in between (hermaphrodites), why couldn't one be born chemically in between in the brain. If you put an Apple operating system in a coke machine, it wouldn't feel at home (if it could feel). I think that it is a shame that people try to alter the body chemistry myself because it rarely ends well down the road. I think that hormone replacements will cause mental issues, but I do believe we all have mental issues from the beginning. Some more intense than others. There is no doubt that certain types of mental challenges are specific to those who pursue being transgender. It's not something that I think most of them can help on their own and I think they chose poorly on the way they try to appease themselves.
