IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!! It's like a "fingernails scraping the chalkboard" kind of hate. It feels soooo weird. No one else I know understands me when I try to explain it. They think I just don't like getting paper wet and I should dry my hands more thoroughly but it's not that! I try all the time to make sure there is no wetness at all left on my hands after I wash them but it just has this temporary aftermath that makes me cringe after I feel any kind of paper material. Please tell me if you know what I'm talking about! You can even explain why it happens if you know that much.

Yeah I don't like touching paper after I wash my hands usually because my hands will be dry after washing them and it feels funny on the paper if I put some cream on my hands after washing its ok.
why does it feel weird to touch paper after washing my hands?
I hate touching paper not matter what! I also hate paper brushing together. It sucks!!!! I need help
Hi, I have exactly the same issue. You describe it perfectly. I have also tried to explain this to people, but they look at me like I am mad nuts. I have a note in my dentist file that states not to put gauze in my mouth....I had to pull over my car once when I thought about dry gauze in my mouth....it makes me shudder and tense up in disgust to the point that I feel paralyzed temporarily. If you found out what this is, can you let me know?
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! I HATE IT SO MUCH
I DIDNT THINK ANYONE WAS LIKE THAT EXCEPT ME. sorry for the caps, but omg! lol i thought i was the weirdest person in the world.
The best thing for this I found is, after you wash your hands just touch your hair or some part of your skin that hasnt been recently washed. that will cause the natural oils of your skin to rub off on your clean hands and makes you feel normal again. works for me, but hey, everyone is different.
paper, certain velvety feeling objects like a mouse pad, cigarettes, cotton, and some other things that are irritating for me to touch after washing.
I am the exact same way! I literally have a fear of touching paper with wet or damp hands. I looked it up, and it is referred to hydroparchaphobia.
If it truly is ur greatest problem in existence then u must be grateful.! yet i myself choose the automatics on the grounds that way you dont hsbe to the touch something. meaning we are shielded from germs. So yeah you ought to thank the inventor of whoever made those issues.
