Someone made a fake profile impersonating my mother, and the only option on the site is the Report/Block icon. Naturally, I've already used this, but the profile is still up! Other family members are starting to "connect" with the profile... inclusively, my uncle (mom's brother) claimed he "chatted" with her via the facebook chat window, but my mother doesn't even know how to use a computer!
I now know who created the profile, and she is only 13 years old. She too has a profile, but don't you have to be like 16 to have one? She also set up a profile for her dog, c'mon on now...
Anyways, I'm only interested in my mother's fake profile. Does anyone know of an e-address for facebook where I can write to for support?

Hello PiscesPassion:
As a long-time and long-suffering Facebook user myself, I have to honestly tell you that trying to get help from Facebook in these matters is extremely difficult. As you've probably figured out already, they seem to make it very difficult (if not impossible) to actually get a hold of someone "live."
Facebook's support e-mail is purportedly "[email protected]"... However, don't hold your breath waiting to hear back from someone, if you try using this.
Have you tried the "Help Center?" And I'm asking this question somewhat sarcastically--for which I apologize in advance....

If you have, you've probably noticed it's really hard to find an e-mail there; and, not to mention, a phone number. Call me cynical--but I really believe that Facebook has done this on purpose.
Have you tried the "Contact" link?
http://www.facebook.com/help/#!/help/?page=835
You'll notice that clicking on the "list of topics" merely brings you back to the original "Help Center Page." In other words--using the Facebook so-called Help Center can have you (almost literally) running-around, or "clicking around" in circles.
You're only other option is to write to Facebook at their Corporate Headquarters:
Facebook Headquarters
156 University Ave.
Palo Alto, CA 94301-1605
Phone: 650-543-4800
Fax: 650-543-4801
I wouldn't even bother trying the voice line, but the Fax number might be worth a try.
The sad fact of the matter is that unless you have some big-hitting legal backing, like the singer Justin Bieber--who had Facebook delete the account of another person who had the same name (claiming the other Justin Bieber was impersonating the singer---even though he was "older" and had the name "first"), it's really hard to get Facebook to do much of anything for "the little guy" (or "gal").
Keep trying, and hope your issue (or your Mom's issue) gets fixed soon.
Facebook's age requirement is 13. I think Myspace is more like 16.
I don't think you can contact Facebook directly, and you have to rely on the report/block button (it probably takes a while), in the meantime, I recommend you contact your family members and tell them it's not real.
