no, the paragraph is fully correct! its abt construction, right? thus, theres nuthing which can b declared as faulty here... evn 'jst the matter of..' stands true on its part....
what i understood is that someone wants to succeed using a bit of tactics and feels that he should not allow any sort of resistance from the other side and for that he should present himself so confidently that others don't even think of resisting.
