On my windows vista laptop, only a few years old, I am getting this error message whenever I try to open or connect to the internet. This occurs when I open any browser (itunes) as well as the itunes store, and will not let me access the internet. I want to be able to access the itunes store, so does anyone have an Idea of what this problem could be or how I could solve it?. I have had this happened to me before on my Windows Vista laptop. Honestly, I don't know if this is the correct way but, I used System Restore. I restored it and it worked perfectly fine.You can Search System Restore by going to: Start and then search "System Restore"Hope everything works out!
