I recent purchased a Legend of Blue Eyes booster-pack of the internet from an online card store, which had claimed to have not been in the original box. Since the site was highly recommended by many sources, I decided to go ahead and purchase the set. I received my cards in a mail a few days later and without hesitation, opened all of the booster-packs before looking at any of the cards. Now it would appear that some of the cards I have appear to be fake. The card "Fiend Reflection #2" appears to have look like the image "jumped" in 2 different places. The card "Tiger Turtle" appears to have color distortion. And they are the same on each copy of the card. I google imaged the cards and they appear to not have the same problems on any of the images shown. Is there any way of proving the cards are fake, and is there any way to take legal action, even after fully opening the packs.

no it's too late when buying cards online you must be careful because ppl suck. if a site says something like "not in original box" or "used" or "not original packaging. it come be tampered with, if u buy cards and notice the packs look "odd" or like it was reglued, don't open them and get your money back, when sites are trying to scam you usually they have a "no return policy" so dont even buy from them.
make sure it's from a site that still has "factory packaging" that way you know it hasn't been opened, try not to buy from card shops with packs that aren't individually wrapped, what they do is get booster boxes weigh them, open the heaviest boxes weigh the packs open the heaviest packs to get the good cards and sell the rest........
fake cards usually have incorrect information like mispelled name, different wording, no card number(bottom left corner, or the silver or gold square is even with the border(in real cards the square falls slightly over the gray border. and in fake cards holo cards are typically wierd colored. and in most fake card the entire star for the level is visible(in real cards you can only see the top half of the card)
and the miscoloring the above ppl are talking about isnt usually because of "lack of printer ink" in older sets its common for 1st edition cards and unlimited cards to be colored differently, if u get a 1st ed card and the same non 1st ed card the non 1st ed will have a lighter tint to it.....

The image appearing to have jumped around occurs occasionally. This is due to Konami's printing plates. Chances are they just happened to have misaligned. the Tiger Turtle's color distortion is due to a lack of ink in the press. You mentioned that you pulled multiples of your cards. This is probably due to the packs being unshuffled.
Both of your cards are most likely not fake.

This is a printer defect. One of the Tiger turtles are colored incorrectly.
In the event they are fake however, there is no way to take legal action. The cards could have easily been planted by the person suing. Usually though, if the cards are fake, they will feel completely different from normal ones.

@Sky Scourge: I did not know about the older set fading thing. I can't confirm it since I know nothing of it but would you care to site some sources? Just curious, not saying the info is right or wrong.
Without pictures we can't tell you if they're fake or not. Based on what you've said it looks like the card's real. Fakes are very, VERY obvious in Yugioh. As long as it has the set number, hologram, and no misspellings or font differences then it's real. (P.S. "Legal Action" wont work. They're cards, courts don't care)
