Essay writing is a process.
First, you will need to make a sentence outline. A sentence outline consists of a thesis statement, main points and supporting details. Sentence outlines are really helpful because they will guide you in writing your essay later on (it makes the whole process faster and less taxing). Also, essays written instantly (without outlines) tend to be less structured, incoherent and ineffective.
*Try it yourself, and you will discover that writing an essay becomes less tedious if you make an outline first rather than writing the essay immediately. For more details about constructing sentence outlines, go to this page: http://ww2.shoreline.edu/doldham/102/HTML/Sentence... .
Second, you will have to write the essay itself using the outline you made. After writing the whole thing, read it and check if there is coherence and unity among the sentences.
Third, you will have to have your essay peer-reviewed. Ask someone (your mother or a friend) to read and comment on your essay (if they understood what you wanted to say in your piece, if there are some things which are unclear, or if there are grammatical errors). This step is really important especially that you're aiming for an A.
Fourth, you will have to revise your essay and write your second draft. After making it, read it again and check for typos. You may want to have it peer-reviewed the second time around, but papers peer-reviewed once are usually good to go.
Good luck on your paper! :)
