Depending on your TV, you may not need a cable. If it can connect to a WiFi network, you may be able to connect to your PC cord-free.

We need more info. What brand and precise model is your computer and your tv?
Then we can look up what ports each has and be able to tell you with certainty which cord to buy.
More than likely, you need an HDMI cord.
you will either need a TV card or video card which supports HDMI........well obviously in the case of HDMI the tv set needs to support HDMI as well.
