I have an HP monitor with HDMI, VGA and DVI cords but am not sure how I'm supposed to connect it to my macbook pro (bought june 2013) and what cords I'm supposed to purchase to connect it.
Everything I find shows me how to connect to the VGA cord, but am I also supposed to connect the DVI and HDMI or do I not need them? And, if I do, then how and with what?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

So all you have to buy is a Mini Display Thunderbolt to VGA adapter. It only costs $29. Shop link- http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB572Z/B/mini-di...
