How do i know if my sister has paranoid schizophrenia?
She is 22 years old she suffers from depression since she was young. I can remember she used to beat my mom up when she was like 10 years old. She always yells screams about everything mad.. She fights with me alot not psychically but it has happened in the past. And she is always bossing my mom around....she cry's about everything she like to manipulate my mom to think i am the one causing her that.. and she for the past 5 years hasn't gone to school she didn't graduate because she has made up a sickness that no doctor has been able to cure because it nothing its all in the head. What can i do ? Help

She most likely has a condition, but it is not schizophrenia. It sounds more like Borderline Personality, Bipolar (manic depression), or she could be suffering from a narcissistic disorder of some kind. If she had Schizophrenia she would be very paranoid, and either suffering from visual, audible, or both kinds of hallucinations. The best thing you can do at this point is try to convince your mom to admit her to a facility that can better handle her needs until you get to the root of the problem. It almost sounds like drugs, but you said she has been this way most of her life, and I doubt she has been on drugs all of her life. You seriously need to find a psych that can help. She needs it desperately. I'm sorry you are going through this, I hope the best for you, and for your family.
Maybe try talking to her?? Or maybe get help for her. Talk to your mom about it and stuff. Then maybe have her see a therapist.. That's all I can think of :|
