How do you delete a "stuck" file from macbook pro desktop?
I was using garageband and accidentally selected save a live form file or something like that that I didn't need. Now i have .band file on my desktop that I can't get rid of. It used to say "cannot delete laugh.band because it is not deletable" or something of the sort. So I played around with it, changed the file extension a few times and now I can drag it to the trashcan, it makes the trash noise, but the file remains in place. If I drag is, it attempts to make a copy of itself and I get the message "The operation can’t be completed because it isn’t supported." I've googled tried a lot of different things and can't get rid of it, please help!

What worked for me was completely deleting the file from the computer, so from garage band. If you still need it, just either export it to an external hard drive, flash drive, email it to yourself, ect. Or, you may be able to save it in a different location. If this does not work, restart your computer after deleting it from garage band. It worked for me, and hopefully for you too!
