Requirements are pretty open, but I'd certainly recommend taking Biology 12 and taking a few Human Biology courses in University, even if you don't major in sciences. Make sure you get involved in extra-curricular activities and volunteer in your community. These are big things for both the Paramedic Academy and BCAS. Look into St John Ambulance Cadets. This is a great program for young people interested in first aid! Also, spend some time reading the JIBC's Paramedic Academy page.
