You can't downgrade anything after 3.55 with just software and a USB.
Ps3 Fat Downgrade
the only way to downgrade your fat ps3 is to open up your ps3 and install a E3 FLASHER, but if you install the E3 FLASHER wrong you will brick your ps3
and since your ps3 is at 3.55 you wont be able to play online
