How do I solve (x/3) - (x/5) = 9 ?
Thanks in advance.
x/3 - x/5 = 9
multiply both sides (every term) of the equation by 15:
5x - 3x = 135
subtract:
2x = 135
divide by 2 on both sidees:
x = 135/2 or 67½
that's it! ;)
