try doing these things every day, read some, write some may be just a line or two, listen to radio, watch video, and try conversation in English, and do not hesitate to ask for the meaning during conversation explaining English is not your first language and you need help. also got hold of a good easy to use dictionary, English is not my mother tongue but now I can use English without any problem.

Start to watch PBSkids.I am seriously.All programs for the little kids are very helpful.Also start to watch TV with English subtitles so you can start memorizing words.Try to pick a word of a day and use that word by making different sentences .Most important is talk!Don,t be shy.Most of the people are very understanding .That is how I learn English.You already did a very good job by writing this letter and you have strong will to learn it is a very good too.You ,ll do it.Good luck!

One good way is to think in English. This always helps. Also, you can use english words while speaking in your own language.
