I ran into a problem?

I have a PS3 and Netflix is already downloaded. One day I went to see what it was like and so I hit 'Sign-In'. It said 'Are you a new user or an existing?' Now my dad already has a Netflix account setup for the computer. So I just wanted to see how the beginning options were if you were to hit 'New user'. So I did and eventually I quit. I didn't make a new account though. Now the other day my dad came up with the idea to hook my PS3 downstairs to the TV and so I did, I still had internet connection too. So we sat on the couch and hit Netflix on the PS3 and it directly sent me to the New User feature thing. I thought it was just an ad (which would be really stupid. Here's an ad for the thing your using!) and so I hit next since there were no avavaible options and it sent me to the screen where you have to sign up with all of the Credit Card Number and Phone Number junk. I exited and tried again, receiving the same results as the previous time. My dad then called up Netflix and asked what was going on. They said they will send him an email on how to do it but he never got an email. What do I have to do? Do I have to delete it and download it again? Please help, we like Netflix it just won't work for our systems.
