Im having problems getting pictures on iPhoto.
I recently got my macbook and already got all my photos on it. Im now trying to get new pictures directly from my camera.
I did that and it went directly into iPhoto. I like to name all my pictures so i did.
Later, i found that that the names on the pictures in the finder folder werent the same but the confusing file name (ex. DSFIJI.60) I changed those names to the names i put on the iphoto and when i went back to look at the pictures on the iphoto a dark question mark comes up and wont let me see the pictures.
I tried importing back the pictures from finder and it wont let me. Saying its already in the library. Deleted the photo from iphoto and tried it again and the same thing came up.
how can i name the picture in both places?
Why does it do this?
Thanks for the help!

i've got no theory what the specific undertaking maybe, even with the undeniable fact that in case you nonetheless have all image information (which you imported into iPhoto in the previous than) in some folder or your digicam, then you definately might effectively delete the iPhoto library report and import the photographs returned, which shall we iPhoto build a clean library report: • close the iPhoto utility (Cmd-Q or via potential of the menu: iPhoto > give up iPhoto). • interior the Finder, pass into your 'pictures' folder and drag the report 'iPhoto library' into the trash. Then empty the trash (via potential of pressing Cmd-Alt-Delete, or via way of the trash window, or via potential of the menu Finder > Empty trash). • Now open iPhoto returned and importing your photographs. make certain you install all utility updates that Apple publishes, easily provided that iLife '11, and iPhoto with it, has been released in basic terms those days and there could even with the actual incontrovertible fact that be bugs that reason issues (an anxious complication with maximum utility companies …) be sure on Apple menu > utility replace.
When you rename them in iphoto, iphoto displays the name. If you want to share a picture or two, all you have to do is drag the picture out of iphoto and in to another folder. By holding shift, you can select an entire album. The new names should come with the photo.
When you renamed the originals iphoto lost track of them and did not know where they are because it knew them by a different name.
