Hi I'm a 15 year old sophomore girl and I usually get all A's with 1-2 A-'s. Last year I only got one A- on each semester.
This year, I got 2 A-'s in my first semester. I was sad but I was really sad when I found out I got a B+ in Chinese 2 class. I have a different teacher for chinese. This is a cable class too. I sometimes don't think the quizzes she gives us is fair. Some don't have enough time and some don't even make sense. The teacher doesn't really make an effort to check our quizzes either. I emailed her and all she said was that I actually need to study before taking it. I understand that she has other classes and not enough time to keep up with every student but I just think that it's kind of unfair. For this semester I am thinking of really studying like crazy for Chinese 2. My dad got kind of mad too because he said that since I am part Chinese (I have a lot of different asian cultures in me) I should know this stuff. :(
I want to become a doctor when I grow up and I was wondering if this B+ in Chinese 2 will affect me anyway when applying for colleges or just becoming a doctor. I am very worried. My mom and step dad are also very disappointed. I am now not going to be in track this year because of this B+.
Thanks in advance! ^_^

I felt the same way when I got a B first term, but it's really nothing to worry about. Colleges only see your final grade at the end of the year on your transcript. If you got a B+ first term but As the rest of the year, chances are you would have an A in Chinese at the end of the year, and that's what your colleges would see. It's definitely not bad, and the fact that you're this upset about it shows how much you care about school and your grades.
no just take ap language and then in that class get an A
