Is downloading from customaniacs.org illegal?
Is it illegal to download from customaniacs.org? I am only downloading the artwork to use for my desktop picture for myself and myself alone but I do not want to get in trouble for downloading illegally copied and distributed material because I do not want my Internet access terminated. If anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Short answer: No. The legality of the whole site is in question though as it appears that none of the artwork is original and all of it is derived from someone else's work.
The website itself could be made illegal in many countries, as it asks for purchasable credit before you can download much of it's material. Much of the material sold are customized media covers, aimed at the pirate scene, customized versions of someone else's artwork that is on sale or soon to be sold. The original creators or publishers could sue the website in order to take it down. Ironically, customaniacs watermarks its output if users do not purchase credit.
Could be do you have Firefox you should check up on that after u download if your cp freezes after shut it down and leave it for a good 13 mins it happend to me
