No shes not. But she did play one on Keeping up with the Steins. She played a girl who went to the same Hebrew school as the main character.
But she isn't Jewish in real life though. Also, to add to the other two answerers. There is no such thing as having a "Jewish last name". Jews are made of converts and people of other cultures. Obviously not everyone is going to have a "Jewish last name". There is Paula Abdul for example. She is fully a Jew in all respects and has an Arab last name from her Syrian background. Or Connie Chung who is fully considered a Jew and she obviously doesn't have the typical "Jewish last name" because she is Taiwanese. Also, there isn't a "Jewish look" either for the same reasons i mentioned above. Many sterotypical Jewish last names are really common European names that are found all over Europe and shows the person's profession. Like Schneider is German and is mainly meaning "shoe maker" and so on... But Miranda Cosgrove is of Filipino descent.
dart: As a Jew, I know of many with names not stereotypically Jewish. Thats the majority of jews i encounter. There aren't typical Jewish names. Just common ones which are really European names. Do you have proof that those names are "typical Jewish names"?
Her name doesn't reveal much. Like if she was/is Jewish, her name would sound like Cohen, or Stein, etc.
That doesn't prove anything though. Her dad could've been Christian, with the last name Cosgrove, so that's the name she got. But if her mother were Jewish, she would still follow the religion with a non-Jewish name.
Yes, there ARE typically Jewish names, and that, or some facial features might make one THINK that a celebrity (or anyone else, for that matter) MIGHT be Jewish, but with someone like Miranda Cosgrove (typically a British name), and absolutely NOTHING to make one THINK, "hey, she must be Jewish!" WHY would someone jump to that conclusion????
I can TOTALLY see why, if her surname were something like...Eppstein, or she LOOKED somehow, typical...had some sort of features that one associates with being Jewish...maybe, if she looked like Sarah Jessica Parker (who was raised Jewish, but I read somewhere she had been Baptised as something else), or someone, one might think..."hey?" but given the information that is public, there's just no reason to think that.
I have a very non-Jewish sounding name (first name, middle name, and last name altogether). Yet, I went to Yeshiva for 10 years and am VERY Jewish.
My kids were adopted in China, and officially converted into Judaism. They don't "look" Jewish, but are completely Jewish in every way! BTW, they have very "Jewish sounding" first and last names (my husband's last name is very "Jewish sounding") but their middle names are Chinese.
There is no such thing as "looking Jewish" or having a "Jewish name". That is the kind of tribal thing that makes many Jews feel excluded. Their is a Black woman at my shul who gets this kind of thing from other Jews all the time. It really irks her! And she is now on the board of the shul! She is very Jewish in every way.
yeah and my last name is mann, my cousins is eppes, and were all jewish

Have you seen her brothers? That answers the question as to if she is! They both have low ears and tall foreheads she doesn’t even look like either of them. IVF comes to mind but her dad isn’t mention as to his background. Why are common Americans asking this question in the first place? Maybe they are starting to see who is on top of all the major industries including Hollywood and they are only less than 6% of our populace. Now here we are starting to to uncover their treatment of us pagan Gentiles!

RE:
Is Miranda Cosgrove Jewish?
I just wanted to know if Miranda Cosgrove is Jewish
I'm pretty sure she isn't.

WHY would you post that here?
And, I doubt it!
Neither Miranda nor Cosgrove is a Jewish name, and she doesn't LOOK it, so...WHY would you think she was?
