Laptop as PC monitor?
Ok so my PC monitor died and i need to access files stored on the computer... as you can see im in a dilemma. Is there any way i can hook up my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop to the modem to access these files? ASAP thanks!!

If you have a Tv that has a VGA input you can use your tv as a temporary monitor. Just hook it up and grab the files off using a usb flash drive or external hardrive.

no longer actually. a pc exhibit screen is designed to hook on to the photographs chip. So there is not any conventional interface (like HDMI) on the pc exhibit screen. i'm no longer attentive to any straightforward thanks to connect a common video signal to a pc exhibit screen.
