Okay this is fairly easy, but I cant do it for some reason ;/
Jack and Jills age together is 16. Jack is 2 years older than Jill. How old are they?

Jack is 2 years older than Jill: Jill + 2 = Jack
a + b = 16
b + 2 = a
=>
(b + 2) + b = 16
2b = 14
b = 7
Jill is 7 and Jack is 9.
Jill + 2 = Jack
Jill + Jack = 16
Hence
Jill - Jack = -2
Jill + Jack = 16
Add
2Jill = 14
Jill = 14/2 = 7
Hence
Jack = 7 + 2 = 9
Done !!!!
