A certain number of matches are needed to fill 28 boxes (each box contains the same number of matches). When four matches fewer are put into each box they are enough for 35 boxes. Find the total number of matches.

n/28 = n/35 + 4, then solve:
n/28 - n/35 = 4
35n - 28n = 4*28*35
7n = 4*28*35
n = 4*4*35 = 560 total matches.
