I have just set up a minecraft server and I have small dilemma. Whenever I want to connect to the server, I get a connection refused. I have forwarded port 25565 (UDP and TCP) to my computer's ip.
Also I have double-checked my server.properties file, and it's info is good with the port being 25565.
Additional info:
I have a westell versalink 327w
I have made sure that my router's firewall doesn't affect port forwarding.
My computers local ip is in the "Server-ip" field of server.properties

Okay, first off, you do not put any thing in the server ip: part of the minecraft server. properties...If it is closed then its your static IP.
