VMWare fusion might be a better option. But Bootcamp alone is best for games as when you run Parrellel OSs you are sharing your resources and memory.
You can run multiple OSs with Fusion2. You will need a copy of the OSs you want to run. Fusion2 comes with a McAfee 12Month antivirus subscription for protection against corrupting your share files. Fusion 2 is $75 plus the cost of your extra OS.
For general computing VMWare is great, allowing copying files between OSs, quick swapping back and forth.... but for extreme grunt work like games, you might want to do a boot camp install. VMWare will automatically find the installation and boot it inside OSX anytime you want to do lighter tasks. You might consider a second monitor... so you can have a different OS in each as its gets very cluttered.
No restrictions with Bootcamp. Just the resource restrictions with Parallels or Fusion2.
