So I just turned on my PC, and when i did i noticed that there is a program called "Open Office" installed! I have NEVER seen/heard of/downloaded this program EVER! Upon searching i find a lot of forums talking about how its a great alternative and whatever......PROBLEM IS i never downloaded it in the first place.....
Some of the files apparently date back to 2017....And upon further digging i see that it was apparently Installed two days ago!
NOT BY ME THOUGH!
When i try to uninstall from control panel, it attempts to Install it....[after a google search, i saw others have contracted malware to their system like this...]
When i go to command prompt to uninstall it [ msiexec /xinstaller\2397f261.msi] it says
"are you sure you want to uninstall this product" [i never installed it so i click yes..
and it says "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer PAckage]
What the ****?
Any help would be appreciated , thanks folks!!!
Update:HOW DO I REMOVE IT???? AND HOW WAS IT PUT ON MY PC???

So, Open Office is a legit program. It's an open source set of applications that mimic MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Did you install any other application within the past few days? Unfortunately a lot of programs will come with other stuff bundled in the installer. This is rather annoying because if you aren't paying attention you end up installing some other software you didn't want or didn't even know about. Web browser toolbars are infamous for this sort of bundling...especially with the Java updater.
Look in the control panel, Programs and Features.
Select the 'installed on' at the top and see what day it was installed on, it might have been bundled with another program you installed on that day.
You can uninstall it from there. But Open Office is basically an alternative to Microsoft Office.
Edit_
If it's not uninstalling, try Revo Uninstaller. this should get rid of it. after running the uninstaller, it will run the Revo uninstaller (make sure you use Revo to uninstall it) then select all the left over items and delete them.
