1. I can't help you with the first part of number one, and even the second part is very variable depending on what kind of vet you want to become. So, I'm going to assume you want to be a small animal clinician. Your day would consist of seeing clients or performing surgery. For a typical small animal practice you'll see a lot of routine annual checkups and vaccinations etc. You might also have some emergeny situations like an animal who has been hit by a car or eaten antifreeze or rat poison. You might also have some euthanasias. If you're doing surgeries once again, for a small animal clinician who hasn't specialized you'll do a lot of spays, neuters, declaws, dental cleanings, maybe some leg amputations, tumor removals, eye removals, hernia repairs - those will be pretty routine surgeries.
2. Despite what you may think you will be working with people. Most vets have to interact with the animal's owners, not to mention your support staff (techs, assistants, receptionists). You'll have to be able to delegate responsibilities and supervise those under you. You'll also have to be able to explain to clients everything from the basics of pet care to diseases, or injuries that their pet may have. You'll have to be very tactful about discussing money and options regarding their pet's care. Sometimes euthanasia is the best option.
3. To become a vet takes a minimum of 6 years after high school, but for most people it'll take 8 years. You're required to complete a set of pre-requisites that are different for every vet school. These usually take 2-3 years, but most people enter vet school after getting a bachelor's degree (4 years). The pre-requisites are going to be heavy in the chemistry, physics and biology classes, but you also need a certain amount of english, public speaking and social sciences. Vet school itself is four years with years 1 and 2 being almost solely classroom work then year three will have more clinical aspects and year four will be entirely clinical.
The starting salary for a vet right out of school is $55,000 and the average debt of graduates is $120,000. Salaries will increase with experience and you could have the opportunity to do internships and residency in order to become board certified in a specialty.
5. Once again I can't help you with this question, you have to decide for yourself.
