ps4 using GDD5 RAM as system memory?
So the xbox have announced they are using 8gb of DDR3 ram anddedicating 3gb to the OS and 32mb od ESRAM for graphics... That's fine, but the ps4 is using 8gb of GDDR5 ram. Lots of people are saying ps4's ram is better for gaming,
but I thought GDDR5 ram is only for the graphics card and not system memory?
Won't they need ddr3 ram or something to run the os and other things too?
Please let me know :)
Update:Ahh thanks Alex, I knew it was a lot faster in terms of gaming, but I didn't know they were using it as System memory... Usually there is a spot on the GFX card for DDR5, but I guess not in ps4.

try between here : (a million)My workstation >>> rt click properties ... (2) initiate >> Run >> dxdiag you would be able to additionally save it .. click on save all information on backside of dxdiag window !!
