If people look at you like you're insane, go ahead and be insane. Its bliss...trust me.
In the long run, opinions mean nothing. Its whoever gets through the day having the most fun that gets the last laugh. Laugh at the haters, laugh at the lovers, hell, laugh at random strangers you don't know. Their opinions don't matter, and never will...
You look pretty to me. Seriously.
In conversation, just be you. You don't have to sell yourself or worry about being like-able. Get to know yourself, what you like, what you want, and be true to that.
A real key to all this is in how you think, and in this case, how you think about yourself. Think positively. When negative thoughts occur, always question them. For example, say "Wait a minute, that's not really true. I AM pretty!" Always substitute a positive thought. Write it down if you have to. Read it back several times that day.
If you want more on this, get this book and do the written exercises. It's powerful....

And, enjoy your youth--it only comes once!
Sweetie, You are beautiful....OMG.....please don't sell yourself short... it looks like you have alot of wonderful friends and that is a very good thing....you must start thinking positively...that is one way to help yourself become more confident and increase your self-esteem...Whenever those feelings, those negative feelings and thoughts come up, tell them to stop and replace them with positive self-talk....it sounds so simple and it is, and it works very well....Think about and focus on all of the wonderful things in your life....set goals for yourself and celebrate when you reach them, always help others who are more unfortunate than you, and always remember to be a ray of sunshine to others around you....One day, when you are older like me, you will realize that the truest beauty of all is inside, not just on the outside....you are going to be just wonderful...I know it....With your looks and your height, we may be seeing your pictures grace the cover of some glamour magazines one day.....((((HUGS))))..Linda
ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I think your are very pretty, and your hair is gorgeous!
Get into clubs at school, take classes that you've never taken before. Talk to people *I know know it sounds crazy to just go up to people and start talking but it's worth it* Do sports after school, take dancing lessons.
When the time is right, you will meet life-long friends.
You just need to let time take take it's course.

Be yourself and be loyal to people. Don't trust too easy and watch what you say. Really its all you need to know. Good luck with making friends, and don't worry about the people who think they are too good to be your friend. Anyone can be your best friend. When someone is by themselves, go up and say hi im so and so.
14 is a tough age. Lay low, you'll get through it.
