Is it a crushing pain, like an elephant on your chest? If so, check into hospital. Down your arm or into the jaw? Hospital time. Family history of heart problems? Better get it checked out. However, think about any weights you have lifted lately or sudden, forceful movements/actions that you have done that might have strained your pec muscles. It could be that as well. Does it go away with resting, or can you move your arm while you're resting and make the pain appear? So, be safe and have it checked. Remember, the most common symptom of a heart attack is death.
