Hi,
I'm a freshman in a small christian school. I am extremely interested in attending the University of Pennsylvania Experimental Physics Academy.
I have a 3.92 GPA. The required GPA is 3.5
However, I realise that I am not very good with extracurriculars. My school doesn't offer many extracurriculars. We have a total of about 300 students in my school, and we don't have many options of courses to take. Next semester I will be taking all honors courses though.
I am on student council. This weekend I plan on volunteering at the Humane Society, I will also volunteer as a candy striper, at the nursing home. I will have 500 hours of community service by this summer, I am starting a physics club in school, and I play lacrosse.
They admit a little less than 50% of applicants. (275 get in out of 600.) I have above the required GPA, I just need to know if there are any recommendations on other extracurriculars I could try? Also, do you know of any SAT prep tests for 9th grade?
Thanks, any tips are welcome!!

Worry about highschool first. You're on the right track but first you want to see if you can handle physics and truely want to pursue it. The best you can do right now is go on in school, continue getting good grades, trying to start that physics club and perhaps self teaching some physics that you haven't seen yet for the meantime.
