USB Port Problem?
Hi, I have been experiencing some difficulties with my computer. For some reason if i leave it unattended for an hour or so, the screen will turn black, then when i move I look at my laser mouse the red light is gone and my game controller as well is off. But my computer is still remaining off.
I think it is a driver problem, but if you know why please tell me. I dont think it's a screensaver problem. If it happens to be a driver problem please give me the driver download for it. Here are my computer specs:
IBM Aptiva 38u
Windows 2000 with sp4
350 ram
11 gig

Get into the BIOS settings. You probably have a hibernation or sleep mode
Also, go to the Display Properties, and use the POWER SAVING button. Maybe it is going to sleep.

One simple solution to this.
Get a newer computer I think its about time you get a new one if your still running windows 2000. I was running that 5 or 6 years ago.
it's called power management. look for Power Options into the Control Panel.
And don't panik!
