Hi, is there a site that scan your computer and then tell you if a certain video card would work in your PC ? If so, what is the link ?
no. basically there are only two variables:
1. slot type
< 4 years probably pci-e
> 4 years probably agp
> 4 years + low end motherboard and not agp = pci (bad news)
2. power supply
low end cards < 400watt
High end cards > 450 watt
very high end cards > 600 watt
Thats all there is to it. Determine your slot type and power supply and you're in business.
cpu-z or belarc advisor will tell you slot type
http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
Your power supply should say on it.
Find a reliable PC Forum and post your computer specs. They will give you your answer.
The most important factor will be a power supply though.
