I currently have a ATI X700 series 256 MB video card, but a game i recently purchased (The Witcher) is not running smoothly?
I have a Dell Dimension 4700, with currently 1g memory, with a 250gb Hard Drive. Is it possible i just need to upgrade my memory?
The game requirements state i need a NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon 9800 or Better?
Any suggestions on what i should get or what i should do at this point?
Oh and my system supports PCI E
Update:Windows XP

On yet another observe, the charges for the snap shots enjoying cards are not going to pass down as quickly because of the fact the cpu expenses. pass with the cardboard.
well, the game needs 2gb of ram if you have vista and it's recommended that you have a video card with pixel and vertex shader 3.0
and your processor might be slow, you need intel core 2 duo
for the game to run fast and smoothly.

Well you did not say what the OS is that you are running, but if the installation program says you need the other video card, believe it.
You didn't state your video card
