I'm building a program and need it to ask for the user name and e-mail when the program is first ran. I then need it to save that information and once the program has ended send an e-mail to the stored e-mail address and use the stored name within the e-mail body.
How would I go about doing this?

you're doing properly for the initiating of your learn yet i might do it this manner (yet my lack of information approximately FormatCurrency makes me somewhat dumb approximately it ... assumed 2 decimal places while FormatCurrency is in all probability greater effective for a international application): Public type Form1 inner maximum Sub btn1_Click(sender As equipment.merchandise, e As equipment.EventArgs) Handles btn1.click Dim prompt, call As String Dim invoice, percentOfBill, sum As Double prompt = "What % of the invoice might you go with for to tip?" call = "% of invoice" attempt percentOfBill = Double.Parse(InputBox(prompt, call)) prompt = "what's the invoice finished?" call = "invoice finished" invoice = Double.Parse(InputBox(prompt, call)) sum = percentOfBill * invoice txtOutput.text cloth = "A " & String.format("{0:n2}", percentOfBill) & "% tip on " & String.format("{0:n2}", invoice) & " is " & String.format("{0:n2}", sum) seize ex as Exception MsgBox(ex.Message) end attempt end Sub end type
