Whatever you imagine it to be it's a ghost mission that will never be completed. This is mainly because they have all been dead for a couple of hundred years.

The Illuminati did exist as a secret society but they were secret only to protect themselves from persecution by the all powerful Roman Catholic church. They were all very intelligent and respected scientists philosophers and logical thinkers. One of the original members was Galileo who proved that the Earth rotated around the sun (which it does) but the church held that the sun rotated around the Earth (which it doesn't) because the Earth was the centre of the universe. Even though he was right, he was forced to recant and was held under house arrest for many years.

Once the church lost its power, nearly 200 years ago, the Illuminati ceased to exist because science could be pursued openly and there was no need for secret societies. As a matter of interest, Galileo was a devout Roman Catholic. He also died about 200 years before the secret society was formed in Bavaria and the two groups may have been connected but were not the same entity.

The New World Order (or the Illuminati taking over the world) would have happened many decades ago if it was going to happen at all - but it wasn't because, like the Devil worship nonsense, the whole thing was a malicious rumour set about by the Church to discredit the Illuminati and to maintain their own dubious integrity. Rumours simply developed over time into conspiracy theories. The idea that they still exist and all the melodramatic rubbish that goes with it is perpetuated by those who educate themselves from comic books and movies - the truly great thinkers of the world.

In short, the Illuminati were not evil, they no longer exist but they have been replaced by a number of scams who claim to be Illuminati for their own financial benefit

If you happen to be American, you have nothing to worry about as they never made it to America except in Dan Brown novels, comic books, movies and spurious groups who claim to be the Illuminati.

Anybody who is, or claims to be, in the Illuminati is referring to one of the fake groups. Another point to think about is that if it is a secret society, nobody in it will talk about it. Besides this, the entry requirement was intelligence not cash or fame.

Do you really expect any Illuminati members to reply? Even if there were any of them left alive they would not reply because members of a secret society don't talk about it, much less admit to being members.

Others deemed to have a similar capacity for thought as he felt himself to have (think Mensa, 18th century style), were invited to join. Governance was similar to that of the Jesuit Order. It was founded by Weishaupt who had become disillusioned by the Freemasons to counter and/or compete with that society.

The Illuminati (not the currently rumoured non-existent one which is based on the fictitious writings of Dan Brown and 'friends') was doomed as it never really grew beyond the bounds of Bavaria. In 1784, Karl Theodor, Elector of Bavaria, banned all secret societies within his political sphere of influence. That was the death nell and the nail in the coffin for the Illuminati.

The New World Order, yes, according to conspiracy theorists. These followers of conspiracies don't call them 'Communist', though, because they claim Communists and Capitalists are working together.

The conspiracy theorists also claim the Illuminati are Masons.

But, I would really steer very clear of this; it can make you very paranoid. Someone just sent an e-mail blaming the Illuminati for the rash of babbling newscasters, causing them to 'speak in tongues.'

So, unless you feel like living in a world where every single thing, from the recession to your missing lawn mower, can be conveniently explained as the work of the Illuminati...best to ignore the fiction.

Illuminati's existence is a mere consequence of the catholic churches' arrogance towards scientists and science. They wanted people to believe there was only God that can define their existence, but there were scientists and science. They felt that their works are being wasted and they formed "illuminati" just to show that science is an equal reason for their existence.

They donnot worship Satan but the catholics, after knowing that this group was formed, they spread rumours of this illuminati as "satan cult".

The society's main objective was to defend their "Scientific" explanations in place of God.

Ok, I've been researching about them for over a year, so I think I can help.

Firstly yes they do worship Satan, they know a god exists however they are challenging him (because to believe in satan you have to believe in god otherwise it wouldn't make sense. They want world pleasure instead of the pleasure of the hereafter. This is against Islamic teachings (im a Muslim), so they are involved in religion. I don't know whether you are religious or not but their main goal is to get a secular world, if you check the $1 u.s. it'll contain Latin with a word 'seclorum' this stands for secular the phrase on the dollar in Latin means 'secular world', this is what they are aiming for in the new world order, for a one world religion, atheism. In Islam Satan said he'll challenge god and get as much people as possible in hell, that's their aim, to get most of us in hell, it may sound stupid but if you were a Muslim you'll understand. Secondly they try to mock abrahamic religions in many different ways, e.g. the 'dancing Jesus' vid and many mockings of Islam...the most mocked religion. They want people to hate islam, because they know its the true religion. They were the cause in the corruption of Christianity, you may think this is a pathetic point, but just bear with me, these are my religious views. 9/11 was planned 11 years before it occurred, research this for more detail. It was in order to set a bad example of Islam, to challenge god (research why) and to get into the middle east (as an excuse). Why do you think atheism is on the rise like never before?

Prophet mohammed said that at the end of times people will have sexual intercourse in public, on the streets. This is how bad it can get, and those are the objectives of the new world order, to get everyone into practicing sinful actions. The one eye icon they use is the eye of anti-christ according to Islam, its not just any random symbol, they worship antichrist and Satan. Research this too. Don't get too attached though, you'll get paranoid :)

They killed many celebs, check the interview with mj's sister on her brothers death. They killed tupac, may have killed princess Diana as she was someone who promoted peace, did charitable work and helped people of the 3rd world.
