I NEED HELP REALLY BAD I have an assignment due in a couple of hours which i totally forgot about due to my other classes!! I need to know what a pseudo code is and how to write it in word document. Design a program that will ask the user to enter the amount of a purchase. The program should then compute the state and county sales tax. Assume that state tax rate is 4 percent and the county sales tax rate is 2 percent. The program should display the amount of the purchase, the state sales tax, the county sales tax, and the total sales tax, and the total of the sale (which is the sum of the amount of purchase plus the total sales tax).
Hint: Use the value 0.02 to represent 2 percent, and 0.04 to represent 4 percent.

Pseudo code is writing your code in simple english. Essentially you're just figuring out writing out your logic without worrying about the specifics of the programming language. In this case:
State tax is .02, County tax is .04
Get sales amount from user
county tax is sales amount * county tax
state tax is sales amount * state tax
total tax is state + county tax
total amount is sales amount + total tax
display sales amount, county tax, state tax, total tax and total amount
Pseudo code is essentially an algorithm - step by step process to solve a problem. When writing pseduo code, you are not writing code, but the methods you would use to solve a task. For example, write a program that takes in two numbers entered by a user and print the sum.
Prompt user to enter two numbers
Store the numbers
Add the two numbers together and store the sum
Print the sum
write it like you would in a programming language, but dont worry about syntax or any of that. its not a specific language, just use your own words
