we have the smallest budget and we're picky so we like to weed out the weak ones. Yes Marine Corps boot camp is the hardest and here's why.. If I was a soldier and wanted to get into the Marine Corps, I'd have to go to boot camp. But if I was a Marine first and wanted to go into the army, I wouldn't have to go to army basic.

Marine Corps Boot Camp is more difficult and longer (13 weeks long!) than other branches of the military. As for them all being "special forces" that's just not true. The USMC has it's own special forces units, but many Marines are in infantry and non-infantry positions. The USMC has mail room clerks, electricians, mechanics, lawyers, and secretaries, just like any other branch of the military.

And yes... In my experience, Marines have an Espirit deCorps that cannot be found in any other branch of the military. Even the Marine Corps family has a closeness that nobody else even comes close to.

I would say it goes in this order:

1. Marines

2. Army

3. Navy

4. Air Force

I don't know if AF is really easier or harder than Navy. but the Marines and Army are the harder of the two.

I dont think anyone has gone through all 4 basic training/boot camp, but if I had to guess, it would be the marines. (Army basic training was hard, but fun XD)

The Marines has the most advanced fighting force in the world. they kick all other forces trash. (I respect all service members contributions though) for example: My best friend is infantry in the Army my husband is a mechanic in the Marines. My husband is more highly trained in weapons and fighting tactics than the infantryman. Preety sad. the marines isn't for whimps though it takes a special kind of person. I myself am joining the AF b/c i can't handle the marines
